the sun was scorching and i perspired like a fat pig until the perspiration started to sting! but the navy openhouse was pretty interesting coz i got to check out the insides of the ships. and most importantly, i went for a ride on a ship similar to the one that my someone works on. i got to check out the working environment and place where he works, eats and sleeps. not forgetting the very cubicle that he sends me all the morning smses from, while he craps....how romantic...NOT!
after spending 4 solid hours under the hot sun, and checking out almost every ship on display, i can proudly say that i still CANNOT differentiate one vessel from another. I also CANNOT differentiate the numerous types of missiles/torpedoes/weapons/equipments on each ship. However, i also know that i CAN fall asleep on a boat ride, and that the chances of me falling and injuring myself, if i were to ever work on one of these ships, is VERY high. once again... i am an ultimate loser...yay :(
while we were out at sea, we caught sight of the waterspout that was featured in the newspapers. it was just way cool...it's just one of those natural formations that all geography students wished they would witness in their life..haha..ok maybe just me. but honestly i was super amused, and i couldn't stop taking pictures of it. I managed to capture enough photos to document it's growth...woohoo!
see that ship in colour? that's the one my someone works on...at least i recognise it..haha..and see the one on the top left corner?it's the coolest ship in the entire navy. it's the frigade aka pornstar ship...go figure out why! anyway it is the newest ship in the navy, and it has everything on it...say...why am i promoting it?! wth...
there was just something about this barometer and the clock that caught my eye, and i had to take a picture of them. charles laughed at me because these were the only things in the entire ship that i took a picture of...very funny meh?
waterspout! waterspout! cool eh??
oh...FINALLY...after 22 plus years...i visited mt faber on saturday night. that's one place off the list of places in singapore that i have never been to. errr what do i think of mt faber? dark, hot and not very exciting. i was disappointed by the view that i got...or rather the lack of it.
some other places that i have to visit (again) this lifetime...
- bukit timah hill
- seletar reservoir
- pulau ubin
- the zoo (haven't been there since pri 1)

- singapore science centre (haven't been there since pri 6)
- underwater world (haven't been there since kindergarten dunno what)
what other places are there to go to? name me a few...i'm sure i haven't been there...
