this essay writing this is really getting on my nerves. and to top it off..my laptop keeps dying on me. yet another trusted tech gadget letting me down. what a disappointment.
my dear acer laptop..how could you? sigh...

omg...i must say ayy is really the worst direction giver ever on planet earth! harry...if u think i am horrid...i say you are wrong! haha. on wed night after study camp, meems, hobz , ayy and i piled into meems car and made our way to west mall coz mel wanted to get some notes from her friend zaky...and we got directions from wally...but kinda forgot along the way..but..we thought that we'd manage to get there because our dear ayy said "trust me! i know the way!"...so we did....

after we passed jurong bus interchange...we were supposed to go straight ahead..but ayy started tapping on the window and shouting....go there! go there! ..now...where the hell is there ayy?! we can't interpret taps on the window from the front seat of the car while you are sitting behind!after much laughing and "you suck!"s, we figured that she was asking us to turn left...and then what happens??? we start heading down the road towards BOON LAY!

then our other passenger in the back...dear hobz..started shouting..."we are in kranji! i know! trust me! i know ok! i was just here yesterday!" then all 3 of us starts arguing with her that kranji is definitely not here..because we're following the west mrt line and not the north one!...but then she keeps insisting we are at kranji until we finally pass the sign that says LAKESIDE then she believes we are not at kranji..

these two koks...i swear......you dunno to laugh at them or strangle them! never take directions from them!

in the end..meems and i had to trade seats..and i drove while she read the street directory (no more instructions from ayy!)

so...we're nearing westmall...but we freaking can't find the macs...so we just keep going round and round the estate...and ayy starts tapping on the window and saying..."there!! the macs is there!! believe me la!! it's really there!" ..so all of us stare out the window but none of us see the macs! after much laughing once again...we finally arrive at macs!

if you've been to the science park...you'll know about that roller coaster ride slope...which i've never known about in my whole life! anyway..omg...it can freaking cause your heart to fly out of your mouth! so on our way back..we decide to head to the slope for some cheap thrill before going home...and then this time round..we put ayy in the front seat...because she insisted she knows the way back there!

hence we set out on our journey! along the way ayy keeps saying..."wahh!! it's damn exciting! i want to try it again! we must go a few times!"while hobz is sitting at the back and protesting like hell because she hates the heart-flying-out-of-your-mouth feeling! ayy gives the directions and we drive drive drive...then suddenly from the back...

me:"hey how come clementi fire station is in jurong?! so weird!"
hobz: "isn't this the way to your home elaine?!yayy!! no slope!! heng ah!"
meems:"no la it isn't....we're on the way to the slope! wait a min...isn't your home straight ahead elaine?!?!?!"
ayy: "yar...just go ahead and turn right it's my house already!"
3 of us:"...............!!!!!!!!!!OH MY GOD ELAINE ANG!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WHY YOU DIRECT US TO YOUR HOUSE?!?!?!?"
ayy: "why? we're going back to my house what"
meems and i: "you keep saying you want to go to the slope too then why the hell you direct us to your house?!"
ayy:"hahahaha..i don't know the way to the slope! it's very complicated! we have to make a big round back there then back to my house!"
all of us:"........................!!!!!!!!!!!!"

in the end....after she got super a lot of scolding from us...we finally made it back to the slope and we went down it three times! haha! oh..and that biggest kok on earth...when we were like 5km away from the slope...she already started screaming in the car -_-"

packaging is one of the essential factors that contribute to how well your product sells. i mean of course how established your brand name is plays a big part too. was at challengers with my family just now and my dad was on one of his buy-weird-IT-stuff trips once again. this time round he purchased this cd to teach himself how to use microsoft powerpoint (he does not trust my teaching skills...) and an external hard drive.

we stood at the external hard drive section for what seemed like ages choosing between the astone or seagate. seriously...i have never ever heard of these two brands before..ok maybe seagate...but never astone. astone was about 50 bucks cheaper for every disk memory capacity available...but in the end seagate won...i would think because of it's packaging!

so we bought the 120GB seagate external hard drive that came in this superbly beautiful big black (my fav!) box [picture the box that ur ipod came in and you'd get what i mean..]with the words "experience" printed across the cover...and wrapped beautifully..and it cost a bomb..259 bucks. and when we got home...i opened the huge box only to find this puny cpu looking thing sitting in the box..which got me totally pissed off..because..hey man! why give such a huge box when the thing's so damn small?! and..now i can't bear to throw the box away because it's so nice..but yet i have no use for it! sigh...

i can't stand it anymore..i have to blog about my very funny nat hazard grp member! she's the biggest kok on earth..she doesn't intentionally talk rubbish but her kokness is just damn funny. anyway out of the all the sems of doing proj work..i think this sem i've been blessed with a very fun project group for geography. dunno if peach will agree...but i've never laughed so much at proj meetings before. ok...at least when i compare it to my other proj grp this sem..this one is much more fun!

of course we all know who this is...liang po po! hahahahaha...alright..it's actually peach.. if i were in my evil mood, i'd post the pic of her looking like E.T. haha..but nope..i'm in my nice mood today..so this one's up!











then there is fengyi...she has this slightly dazed look 24/7..haha and i realised today everytime when she open her mouth to speak..everyone else will speak at the same time...so in the end no one's listening to her! so tragic!








then..my sec 3 and 4 classmate..the blur kok iris! she's the reason why we're doing the proj together. because peach and i were late for our first tut..and everyone else had already formed their groups by the time we got there :s but luckily iris didn't have enough people yet..so we quickly chiong and choped her and gwen!






lastly..gwen..this is the kok of the group! just by the look of her photo you know what a kok she is already! her deafness is just freaking funny...this is why..

exams are about a month and a half away...and it may sound a little crazy to be part of the study camp now because it's really the rush-essays-till-you-collapse period...but..yes i'm part of the study camp, because...one really needs company while going through this torturous and traumatic experience..haha ok i'm exaggerating la. study camp started last night...

anyway...i spent the entire night figuring out how to use the nokia pc suite and how to store mp3s, photos and what nots into the memory card of the hp..why? because i refuse be a slave of technology! i will never let them rule over me...i must always figure out how to use any tech stuff! hah! i like to be tech savvy..and not succumb to society's stereotyping of females as tech idiots...bladee blah blah blah...

i'm utterly sad that my panasonic x70 died on me :(

i waited for a whole yr to buy it...because i saw it in the business times in jan 2003 and i finally got it in dec 2005..but alas...it didn't last for 2 yrs :( (and i'm still paying for tt stupid starhub plan......bah!) and my dad can't stop calculating how the phone cost him a thousand bucks in all and it didn't even last for 2 yrs...eh not true lor...it didn't cost a thousand bucks when i bought it..he just happily add the subscription and phone bills and everything...and the even sadder part is that i'm a super big panasonic fan..because of the clam shell phones..but the sms-ing kills..and the phone has too many probs..sobz

last sat was xing's 21st bday..and she held it at park lane service apartment.very nice place! but a little small for a huge party though! we the gluttons wiped out her entire buffet table..only after everyone stopped eating of course..haha..and then we hung ard until about 2 before mel, jin, hobz and i headed to mustafa. i got to drive mel's saab...woohoo..it was so nice! but driving to mustafa in the night's kinda scary man! we circled the whole place a few times before parking a street away from mustafa. we spent i dunno how long in that dusty place..and finally left with some kok purchases... then headed to geylang for tao huay...

guess who we saw there? zhang yao dong aka mj again...sianz...forever seeing him
we pretended that we didn't notice him..but the tao huay auntie spoilt it for us...

auntie to zyd(in chinese): wa! u're the actor right?! i keep thinking how come u are so familiar! now i remember that i saw u on tv!

then the auntie walks towards our table..and while i am still laughing at the kok thing she did...she taps me on the shoulder and went

anyway...on the way to my home after tt ...mel drove over i shan't say what..but it was yucky..so we headed to the car wash to get her car cleaned up...and then guess what? the name of the car wash was..."wash and run" -_-"

so we sat in the car while the people gave the car a foam wash..which was quite exciting...coz i haven't been in one for the longes time ever..hahaha...in the car
